Διακόπτης με κλειδί Jung 134.18, 1P, metallic, 250 V AC, 10 A

Jung 134.18 key-operated electrical switch is a single-pole, manually keyed switch with a metallic finish designed for secure on/off control in residential and light commercial installations. Rated for 250 V AC and compatible with 50–60 Hz supply, the switch provides a nominal current capacity of 10 A and features screw terminals that accept conductors up to 2.5 mm². The compact design and keyed operation make it suitable where restricted access and deliberate manual switching are required.

Advantages

The metal-front key switch offers a robust mechanical appearance and tactile feedback during operation. Keyed actuation prevents unauthorized switching while still allowing simple manual control by authorized personnel. Screw terminal connections support reliable wiring for typical building installations and accommodate conductors up to 2.5 mm² for straightforward connection to existing circuits.

How to use

Install the switch into a compatible mounting frame or flush box and secure it according to local electrical regulations. Make sure supply power is turned off before connecting conductors. Strip conductors to the appropriate length, insert into the screw terminals and tighten securely to ensure good contact. Use the key to operate the switch: turning the key changes the contact state to connect or disconnect the single pole. Verify correct operation and ensure the key is held by authorized users only.

Recommendations

Use this key switch within its rated voltage and current limits and avoid switching inductive loads that exceed the 10 A rating without additional protective or switching devices. Periodically check terminal tightness and the mechanical condition of the key and lock mechanism to ensure reliable operation.
