Διακόπτης DisplayPort ShiverPeaks SP05-14001 2x1 αμφίδρομος, υποστηρίζει έως 8K

ShiverPeaks SP05-14001 is a 2x1 bidirectional DisplayPort switch designed to route DisplayPort video and audio between two sources and a single display, or to share one source between two displays. Labeled for 8K support, the switch allows selection of the active input or output without the need to reconnect cables, simplifying setups in workstations, meeting rooms and AV installations that require fast, reliable signal switching.

Advantages

The device provides bidirectional switching, enabling use either as a 2-input/1-output selector or as a 1-input/2-output splitter with manual selection. It supports high-resolution DisplayPort signals up to the level indicated by the manufacturer, maintaining digital video and audio integrity while reducing cable wear and setup time. The compact form factor and simple control mechanism make it easy to integrate into existing deskside or AV rack installations.

Suitable for

• Single-monitor workstations that need to switch between two PCs
• Meeting rooms and huddle spaces where multiple presenters connect their laptops
• AV setups that require manual selection of sources without replugging cables
• Environments where preserving high-resolution video and audio during switching is required

Key specifications

• Topology: 2x1 bidirectional DisplayPort switch
• Resolution support: specified for up to 8K signal handling
• Signal type: DisplayPort digital video and audio
• Control: manual switching between inputs/outputs
• Form factor: compact inline unit suitable for desk or rack integration

How to use

Connect the DisplayPort cables from up to two source devices to the source/input ports and connect the display to the output port when using as a 2-input/1-output selector. For the reverse configuration (sharing one source between two displays), connect a single source to the input and the displays to the output ports as required, then select the active display. Use the switch control to toggle the active signal; no software or driver installation is required. Ensure connected cables and devices support the desired resolution and refresh rate for optimal results.

Recommendations

Use high-quality DisplayPort cables rated for the target resolution and refresh rate. Verify display and source capabilities for 8K operation and ensure graphics hardware and cable length meet recommended specifications to avoid signal degradation.
