Διαγώνιος κόφτης Knipex X-Cut 73 06 160 T

The Knipex X-Cut 73 06 160 T diagonal pliers are precision cutting tools designed for clean, accurate cuts in wires and small pipes up to 12 mm diameter. With a compact 160 mm length and ergonomic red-and-yellow handle, these pliers balance control and reach for work in confined spaces. Built to Knipex quality standards, the tool combines a hardened cutting edge with a geometry suited to cutting soft and hard materials commonly encountered in electrical, installation and maintenance tasks.

Advantages

These diagonal pliers provide a finely honed cutting edge that maintains sharpness for repeated use and ensures precise shearing action. The handles are shaped to improve grip and reduce hand fatigue during extended work periods. The compact size allows access in tight areas while the robust construction supports consistent performance under professional workloads. The bright handle colors improve visibility in toolboxes and on job sites.

Suitable for

• Cutting electrical wires and cable strands
• Trimming small copper or brass tubes up to 12 mm diameter
• Workshop, installation and maintenance tasks
• DIY repairs and hobby electronics

Key specifications

• Overall length: 160 mm
• Maximum cuttable pipe/tube diameter: 12 mm
• Width: 56 mm
• Height: 28 mm
• Ergonomic two-colour handle for improved grip
• Hardened cutting edge for durability

How to use

Position the cutting edges around the material to be cut and apply steady pressure to the handles until the material is sheared. For wires, place the conductor close to the pivot point for maximum cutting force; for tubes, align the cutting edges perpendicular to the workpiece for a clean cut. Inspect the cutting faces before use and avoid twisting the tool while cutting to preserve edge geometry. Use appropriate personal protective equipment such as safety glasses when cutting springy or pressurised materials.

Recommendations

Use these diagonal pliers primarily for cutting wires and small-diameter tubes within the specified capacity. Avoid cutting hardened steel that exceeds the tool’s intended range to prevent premature wear. Store the pliers dry and clean, and periodically check the cutting edges for damage; resharpening or professional servicing extends service life.
