Διαχειριζόμενος διακόπτης PLANET LRP-822CS

PLANET LRP-822CS is a managed Gigabit Long Reach PoE switch designed to extend Ethernet and PoE over existing coaxial cable infrastructure to remote IP devices. It provides 8 BNC Long Reach PoE injector ports, 2 Gigabit RJ-45 ports and 2 SFP slots, supports IPv4/IPv6 dual stack and a Layer 2/4 Gigabit switching engine. Each BNC port can deliver up to 36 W, with a total PoE budget of 240 W, enabling centralized power delivery and long-distance deployment of PoE cameras, access points and access control devices.

Advantages

The LRP-822CS converts existing coaxial cabling into a long-distance PoE distribution system, supporting data and power transmission up to 1,000 m over coax plus 100 m over Ethernet to the powered device. Centralized 240 W power management reduces the need for local power outlets at remote sites. Built-in PoE management features — PD Alive Check, Scheduled Power Recycling, PoE Schedule and PoE Usage Monitoring — improve device availability and make administration more efficient. Additional benefits include IPv6/IPv4 dual-stack support, robust Layer 2 features, QoS, advanced security functions and a smart fan design for quiet, reliable operation.

Suitable for

• Upgrading analog CCTV networks to HD IP surveillance using existing coaxial cabling
• Deploying centrally-managed PoE IP cameras across large or remote sites
• Supplying PoE to remote wireless access points and access control systems
• Small to medium enterprise networks requiring managed Layer 2 switching with PoE

How to use

Install the LRP-822CS in a standard 19-inch rack and connect the uplink to your NVR, server or backbone switch via the RJ-45 or SFP ports. Use the 8 BNC ports to connect to PLANET Long Reach PoE Extenders (for example LRP-101CE) over existing coaxial cables; each extender then connects to an IP camera, wireless AP or access control device via Ethernet. Configure IP addressing (IPv4/IPv6), VLANs, PoE schedules and PD Alive Check through the web management interface or via SNMP/CLI. Monitor PoE consumption with the built-in power usage chart and set PoE schedules or scheduled power recycling as needed.

Recommendations

For reliable long-reach operation, use recommended PLANET Long Reach PoE extenders and quality coaxial cables; keep total PoE consumption within the 240 W budget and enable PoE over-temperature protection and PoE schedules to maintain stable operation in high-load or high-temperature environments.
