Διαχειριζόμενος διακόπτης PLANET IGS-801M

PLANET IGS-801M is a compact managed L2/L4 Gigabit Ethernet switch with eight 10/100/1000BASE-T RJ-45 ports, 16 Gbit/s switching capacity and an IP30 metal housing. Designed for industrial and harsh environments, the switch supports full-duplex operation, a MAC address table of 8,000 entries and redundant power inputs for reliable continuous operation.

Advantages

The IGS-801M offers robust Layer 2 features including link aggregation, 802.1Q and Q-in-Q VLAN, MSTP, LLDP, IGMP and MLD snooping, together with comprehensive QoS and traffic control (per-port bandwidth control, DSCP remarking and storm control). It also delivers advanced security capabilities such as IPv4/IPv6 ACLs, 802.1X authentication, port security, DHCP snooping, IP source guard and dynamic ARP inspection. Management options include web GUI, Telnet, SNMP, SSH, SSL and SNMPv3 for secure remote administration.

Suitable for

• Industrial automation and factory floor networking
• Traffic control cabinets and roadside equipment
• Small to medium enterprise access layer deployments
• VoIP and IP video streaming applications

How to use

Install the IGS-801M in a suitable enclosure or rack space and connect the DC or AC power sources to the redundant power inputs. Use the RJ-45 ports to connect end devices, switches or uplinks. Configure VLANs, link aggregation, QoS and security policies via the built-in web interface, SNMP management software or Telnet/SSH command line according to your network design. Save and apply the configuration before placing the switch into production.

Recommendations

For reliable operation in industrial environments, use filtered and surge-protected power lines, enable port security and DHCP snooping on edge ports, and configure redundant trunks for critical uplinks. Regularly update firmware and back up configuration files to maintain security and availability.
