Διαχειριζόμενο switch Trendnet TPE-P521ES

The TRENDnet Managed Switch TPE-P521ES is a compact 5-port Gigabit Ethernet switch with Power over Ethernet (PoE+) support and PoE pass-through capability. It is powered by a PoE+ switch or injector, so no external AC adapter is required. The switch includes two Gigabit PoE ports for powering devices such as IP cameras, VoIP phones, and wireless access points, plus two Gigabit non‑PoE ports and one uplink port. EdgeSmart management provides a simplified web-based interface for VLAN, QoS and basic monitoring while keeping configuration straightforward.

Advantages

The TPE-P521ES offers PoE+ powered operation, eliminating the need for a separate power adapter and simplifying installation in locations without AC outlets. Its EdgeSmart feature set reduces unnecessary complexity by concentrating on commonly used managed switch functions like VLANs, QoS, IGMP Snooping and access control lists. The small, wall-mountable form factor and Gigabit ports provide efficient connectivity and power delivery for small networks and surveillance deployments.

Suitable for

• Small office or home office (SOHO) networks requiring managed features
• IP camera systems and surveillance deployments
• VoIP telephony and SIP handset installations
• Wireless access point deployments where PoE is needed

How to use

Mount the TPE-P521ES using the included wall‑mount points and connect a PoE+ source (PoE+ switch or injector) to the device to provide both power and network connectivity. Connect endpoints—IP cameras, VoIP phones, or access points—to the PoE ports to receive power, and use the non‑PoE ports for other wired devices or uplinks. Open the web-based EdgeSmart management interface from a browser to configure VLANs, QoS, IGMP Snooping and access control lists as needed for your network.

Recommendations

Use a rated PoE+ switch or injector that meets IEEE 802.3at requirements to ensure sufficient power delivery. For surveillance or multi-device installations, plan PoE budget per port and verify total available PoE power from the upstream power source.
