Διαχειριζόμενο switch ALLNET ALL-SG8245PM

The ALLNET ALL-SG8245PM is a managed L2 Gigabit Ethernet switch with five Gigabit RJ-45 ports that support Power over Ethernet (PoE). Designed for small networks and edge deployments, the switch provides full duplex communication and a MAC address table able to store up to 2048 entries. Compliance with common IEEE networking standards ensures interoperability and stable operation in mixed-vendor environments.

Advantages

The managed design offers configuration and monitoring capabilities for traffic control, VLAN segmentation, and QoS enforcement while PoE support simplifies installation of powered devices by delivering power and data over the same cable. Gigabit Ethernet ports provide up to 1 Gbps per port for reliable wired connections, and adherence to IEEE standards such as 802.1Q and 802.3ad supports link aggregation and VLANs for flexible network design.

Suitable for

• Small office LANs requiring centralized management and PoE for IP phones or access points
• Edge deployments in retail, hospitality, or branch offices where compact managed switches are needed
• Network segments that benefit from VLANs, QoS and link aggregation to separate and prioritize traffic

How to use

Install the switch on a stable surface or in a rack-mount location following the manufacturer’s mounting instructions. Connect network devices to the RJ-45 Gigabit ports using Cat5e or higher cabling to ensure Gigabit speeds. Use the management interface (web GUI, CLI or SNMP if available) to configure VLANs, QoS policies, PoE settings and link aggregation according to your network design. Ensure total PoE power budget is not exceeded when connecting multiple powered devices.

Recommendations

Place the switch in a ventilated area to avoid overheating and verify firmware is kept up to date for security and stability. For reliable Gigabit links, use quality shielded or unshielded Cat5e/Cat6 cables and, when deploying PoE devices, plan the power allocation to match device requirements and the switch’s PoE capacity.
