DeWalt DCG405NT-XJ Μπαταρία-Γωνιακός τροχός 18V 125mm

The DeWALT DCG405NT-XJ disc sander is a cordless, compact tool designed for sanding and surface preparation across a range of materials. Powered by a lithium-ion battery and delivering up to 9000 RPM idle speed, this sander combines high rotational speed with a lightweight build of 1.7 kg and a housing composed of aluminum, plastic and rubber. It is intended for users who need a mobile, durable sanding solution with 800 W of output power and clear ergonomic features for continuous operation.

Advantages

The sander’s combination of high idle speed and 800 W output power enables fast material removal and smooth finishing. Its aluminum, plastic and rubber housing improves heat dissipation while providing impact resistance and a comfortable grip. At 1.7 kg the tool is easy to manoeuvre for extended tasks, and the cordless design increases mobility on job sites without sacrificing performance. Built to meet typical noise considerations, the tool has defined sound power and pressure levels for planning work in shared environments.

Suitable for

• Sanding and smoothing wooden surfaces
• Removing paint, rust or old coatings from metal
• Surface preparation before painting or sealing
• On-site finishing tasks where cord-free operation is required

How to use

Before use, ensure the battery is charged and correctly fitted according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Choose an appropriate abrasive disc for the material and attach it securely. Hold the sander with both hands, keep steady, and apply light, even pressure while moving the tool across the surface. Allow the abrasive to do the work — avoid excessive force that can cause uneven sanding or premature wear. After finishing, power off, remove the battery if required, and inspect the disc for wear before storage.

Recommendations

Use recommended personal protective equipment such as eye protection, hearing protection and a dust mask when sanding. Match the abrasive grit to the task: coarser grits for heavy removal, finer grits for finishing. Monitor tool temperature during extended use and allow cooling breaks to preserve motor and housing life. Store the sander in a dry environment and maintain the battery according to the battery manufacturer’s guidance.
