Suitable for

• Connecting a TV's optical output to both a soundbar and AV receiver
• Splitting a Blu-ray player's audio to a DAC and wireless headphone transmitter
• Sharing a game console's optical audio between a capture card and speakers
• Distributing digital audio from a media streamer to two zones

Recommendations

For best results, use high-quality TOSLINK cables and ensure both output devices are set to the same audio format. Note that passive splitting reduces signal strength, so cable runs should be kept short (under 5 meters total) to avoid dropouts.
