Datalogic Magellan 3410VSi - σαρωτής barcode (M3410-010200-00604)

The Datalogic Magellan 3410VSi redefines countertop scanning with a vertical presentation form factor that reads barcodes as fast as customers can present them. Unlike handheld scanners that require manual aiming, this hands-free imager captures 1D and 2D codes from any angle, including smartphone screens, thanks to its megapixel sensor and diffused LED illumination. Built for high-volume retail, it combines Datalogic’s legendary Green Spot good-read confirmation with a compact, easy-to-clean design that keeps checkout lines moving.

Highlights

• Vertical presentation scanner for hands-free operation at the point of sale
• Area imager with 1280 x 960 pixel sensor reads 1D, 2D, and Digimarc barcodes
• Multiple diffused LEDs provide even, flicker-free illumination for comfortable scanning
• Datalogic Green Spot and audible beeper give instant positive feedback
• USB connectivity (Type A and Type B) for simple plug-and-play integration
• IP52-rated enclosure resists dust and moisture in busy retail environments
• 25% minimum print contrast ensures reliable reading of faded or damaged labels
• Firmware downloadable in the field to keep the scanner up to date

In daily use

Place the Magellan 3410VSi on the counter and it becomes a silent workhorse. Cashiers simply slide items past the scanner’s vertical window; there is no trigger to pull, no need to pick up a device. The wide field of view and aggressive decoding handle poorly printed or curved barcodes, while the Green Spot projects a visual confirmation directly onto the code. For loyalty programs or mobile coupons, the imager effortlessly reads barcodes from phone screens, even at high brightness. The scanner’s low power draw (500 mA at 5 VDC) means it can be powered directly from many POS terminals, reducing cable clutter. Its black housing resists scratches and wipes clean with standard disinfectants, a critical feature in today’s hygiene-conscious retail spaces.
