Datalogic Magellan 1500i - διαμόρφωση OEM

Retail checkout and inventory workflows demand fast, accurate barcode scanning without interrupting the operator's rhythm. The Datalogic Magellan 1500i OEM configuration answers that need with an omnidirectional presentation scanner that reads 1D and 2D codes instantly, even from mobile screens or poorly printed labels. Built for high-volume point-of-sale and self-service kiosk integration, it reduces errors and speeds up customer transactions.

Who is it for

This scanner is ideal for system integrators and OEM developers embedding scanning into retail POS terminals, self-checkout stations, kiosks, or access control systems. It suits grocery, convenience, pharmacy, and hospitality environments where counter space is limited and reliability is critical.

Main features

• Omnidirectional area imager reads 1D, 2D, postal, and Digimarc barcodes without precise aiming.
• White LED illumination and high motion tolerance (1.5 m/s) capture codes quickly, even in motion.
• Datalogic Green Spot good-read indicator provides clear visual confirmation for operators.
• USB and RS-232 interfaces ensure easy integration with most POS and embedded systems.
• Compact, durable design with IP52 rating and 1.2 m drop resistance for daily use.

Tips

For optimal performance, position the scanner at a slight angle to avoid reflections from glossy barcodes. Use the USB HID keyboard mode for plug-and-play operation with most POS software, or switch to virtual COM for custom applications. Regularly clean the scan window with a soft, lint-free cloth to maintain reading accuracy.
