D-Link DGS-1016S Unmanaged Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000) μαύρο

The D-Link DGS-1016S Unmanaged Switch is a 16-port Gigabit Ethernet switch designed to expand wired networks in homes and small to medium-sized businesses. Featuring 16 RJ-45 Gigabit ports, full-duplex forwarding and a switching capacity of 32 Gbit/s, it provides high-speed file transfers and media streaming. The switch uses a metal, low-profile chassis that can sit on a desktop or be mounted on a wall, and it operates from a 12V DC input.

Advantages

The fanless, metal housing ensures silent operation while improving durability. Energy-saving technologies (including IEEE 802.3az support and per-port power adjustment for short cables and idle links) reduce power consumption automatically. Per-port LEDs provide visual cable diagnostics for quick troubleshooting. No software or configuration is required, allowing plug-and-play setup.

Suitable for

• Home networks needing additional Gigabit Ethernet ports
• Small offices or branch locations requiring simple network expansion
• Media streaming, file sharing, and general wired connectivity for desktops and NAS devices

How to use

Place the switch on a flat surface or mount it on a wall using appropriate fixings. Connect the power adapter to a 12V DC outlet and plug in Ethernet cables from your router, modem, or network devices into the RJ-45 ports. The switch is unmanaged and requires no configuration; devices connected to the ports will communicate automatically. Monitor the per-port LEDs to verify link status and activity.

Recommendations

Install the switch in a well-ventilated area away from direct heat sources. Use Cat5e or higher-rated Ethernet cables for Gigabit performance and keep cable runs within recommended lengths to allow the switch's power-saving per-port detection to function correctly.
