Why choose it

The CR1500-K103-CX is built for durability and hygiene. Its disinfectant-ready housing allows for regular cleaning with harsh chemicals without degrading the plastic, a crucial feature in healthcare and food processing. The dual optics (SR/HD) ensure it can read both standard barcodes from a distance and tiny, high-density codes on small items or electronics. With an IP54 rating and 1.8 m drop resistance, it survives accidental drops and exposure to dust and moisture.

Ideal use cases

• Retail point-of-sale: scanning products at checkout counters
• Healthcare: patient wristbands, medication barcodes, and lab samples
• Light manufacturing: tracking components and finished goods
• Document processing: scanning barcodes on forms and tickets

Good to know

The scanner is powered directly from the USB port, so no external power supply is needed. It works out of the box as a keyboard wedge, emulating keystrokes, or can be configured as a virtual COM port for more advanced integration. The programmable LED and beeper allow customization of feedback for successful scans. The 2.1 m cable provides flexibility in workstation setups.
