claroc FEN-HDMI-20-40M, καλώδιο HDMI οπτικής ίνας, Active Optical Cable (AOC) HDMI 2.0, 4K, 40 m

claroc FEN-HDMI-20-40M is a 40-meter Active Optical Cable (AOC) engineered to carry HDMI 2.0 signals and deliver 4K video quality over extended distances. The cable uses fiber optics to reduce signal attenuation and electromagnetic interference compared with traditional copper HDMI cables, providing a stable digital connection for audiovisual systems that require long runs. Its active design converts electrical HDMI signals to optical for transmission and back to electrical at the far end, maintaining compliance with HDMI 2.0 bandwidth and 4K resolution requirements.

Advantages

The claroc AOC enables long-distance 4K transmission with lower signal loss and immunity to electromagnetic interference, making it suitable for environments where copper cables would degrade image or audio quality. Its active conversion maintains HDMI 2.0 bandwidth for high-resolution video and multichannel audio while keeping cable bulk and weight lower than thick copper equivalents. The plug-and-play HDMI connectors require no external power or configuration in standard installations and support reliable connectivity for continuous operation.

Suitable for

• Conference rooms and boardrooms with long-distance AV runs
• Digital signage installations in retail or public spaces
• Broadcast and production studios requiring clean 4K transmission
• Home theater and AV setups with displays located far from sources

Key specifications

• Length: 40 metres
• HDMI standard: HDMI 2.0 compliance
• Maximum resolution supported: 4K (3840 × 2160) at HDMI 2.0 bandwidth
• Cable type: Active Optical Cable (fiber optic AOC)
• Signal conversion: electrical-to-optical and optical-to-electrical within cable assemblies
• Interference characteristics: immune to electromagnetic interference typical for fiber optics
• Connector type: standard HDMI male connectors

How to use

Connect one HDMI male connector to the source device (such as a laptop, media player, or AV receiver) and the other HDMI male connector to the display or projector. Ensure both devices are powered on and set to the appropriate input/output HDMI ports. The cable is plug-and-play under standard HDMI environments; if a display does not immediately detect a signal, check device HDMI settings and ensure both source and display support the required 4K resolution and HDMI 2.0 bandwidth. Avoid sharp bends or excessive tensile stress on the cable to preserve the fiber core.

Recommendations

Use the claroc fiber optic HDMI cable for installations where distance and signal integrity are critical. Route the cable away from high-tension mechanical stress and provide gentle bend radii following typical fiber handling practices. For professional AV or broadcast setups, verify EDID and HDCP compatibility between source and display when deploying 4K content over long distances.
