CHERRY MultiBoard MX V2 G80-8000 Πληκτρολόγιο Universal USB QWERTZ Γερμανικό Μαύρο

The CHERRY MultiBoard MX V2 G80-8000 is a full-size USB keyboard in a German QWERTZ layout with 105 keys and a 2.2 m cable. It combines Cherry MX-style Gold Crosspoint contacts with a built-in 3-track magnetic stripe reader and integrated memory, making it suitable for continuous, heavy-duty use and mixed data-entry environments where both typing and card reading are required.

Advantages

Individual keys use Gold Crosspoint contacts (MX technology) rated for over 50 million actuations per key, delivering robust and reliable operation for prolonged use. The keyboard is fully programmable via USB 2.0 and supports efficient configuration with Cherry Tools software. The integrated 3-track magnetic stripe reader offers flexible data transfer modes (USB HID as keyboard scan codes or raw data), freely programmable headers and terminators per track, configurable sentinels, filtering and replacement of card data, optional LRC output, and customizable output sequence. Additional features include WMI statistics, UPOS support for Windows and Linux, client-server compatibility, and an optional integrated USB hub with high-power downstream ports.

Suitable for

• Retail point-of-sale systems combining typing and card processing
• Access control and security desks requiring magnetic card input
• Banking terminals and teller stations with continuous key use
• Environments using client-server architectures and UPOS integrations

How to use

Connect the keyboard to a host system via the USB 2.0 interface. Configure keyboard functions and magnetic stripe reader behavior using the Cherry Tools software or appropriate configuration utilities; choose data output mode (keyboard emulation or raw data), set headers/terminators and sentinels per track, and enable filters or LRC output if required. For software integration, use UPOS drivers on Windows or compatible drivers on Linux and access WMI statistics where supported. If the optional integrated USB hub is present, connect downstream devices to the high-power ports as needed.

Recommendations

For reliable long-term operation, ensure regular cleaning of the magnetic stripe reader path and use properly encoded cards. When deploying in POS or access-control environments, preconfigure headers/terminators and test the chosen output mode (HID vs raw) with your host application to verify compatibility.
