Bosch X440 Best for Wood and Paint 3 τεμ. 2608607258

The Bosch X440 Best for Wood and Paint sanding belt removes material efficiently when working on old paint, varnish or wooden surfaces. It uses a semi-friable aluminium oxide abrasive grain for high-performance sanding and an electrostatic open-coated grit for consistent dust removal. The backing is a robust x-cloth with a high-quality belt joint, and the abrasive is bonded with fully synthetic resin for wear resistance in heavy-duty applications. This 3-piece pack (Bosch 2608607258) is intended for smoothing feather edges, flush sanding rebates and edges, and general sanding of wooden and coated surfaces with belt sanders.

Advantages

The semi-friable aluminium oxide grain delivers fast material removal while maintaining abrasive life; the electrostatic open-coated surface reduces clogging and improves dust extraction for continuous sanding; the x-cloth backing with a reinforced belt joint ensures strength and durability in extensive or heavy-duty work; synthetic resin bonding increases resistance to wear under high load.

Suitable for

• Sanding old paint and varnish from wooden surfaces
• Smoothing feather edges and transitions
• Flush sanding rebates and edges
• General sanding of wood and coated surfaces with belt sanders

How to use

Select the correct belt size for your belt sander and install the Bosch X440 sanding belt according to the sander manufacturer's instructions. Start sanding with moderate pressure and move the sander steadily along the workpiece. For best results on painted or varnished surfaces, use progressive grit steps and ensure proper dust extraction to maintain cutting performance.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment (dust mask, eye protection, hearing protection) and secure the workpiece before sanding. Replace the belt when cutting performance drops or if the backing or joint shows damage. Maintain dust extraction to extend belt life and improve finish quality.
