BlueOptics XXVAOCBL50M-BO Καλώδιο οπτικών ινών InfiniBand 50 m SFP28 Aqua

The BlueOptics XXVAOCBL50M-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable is a 50 m active optical cable with SFP28 male-to-male connectors in an aqua jacket. Designed for high-speed links, this SFP28-to-SFP28 cable implements multimode optical transmission and supports 25 Gbps class data rates over a 50-metre distance. The pre-terminated AOC construction eliminates the need for separate transceivers and patching, providing a single-cable solution for direct equipment-to-equipment connections in data centres and networking racks.

Advantages

The cable provides high-bandwidth, low-latency optical connectivity with immunity to electromagnetic interference, suitable for crowded rack environments and electrically noisy installations. Built to MSA SFP28 AOC mechanical and functional standards, it is compatible with hardware platforms that accept SFP28 AOC modules and supports digital diagnostics monitoring (DDM/DOM) for real-time status of voltage, laser bias, optical output/receive power and temperature. The factory-assembled design reduces installation time and avoids attenuation and misalignment associated with patchcords and field terminations.

How to use

Install the BlueOptics XXVAOCBL50M-BO by inserting each SFP28 connector into SFP28 ports on the devices to be connected, ensuring the connectors click into place. Confirm that the host devices support SFP28 AOC modules and, if required, enable or verify DDM/DOM support in the equipment management interface to monitor optical parameters. No separate transceivers or fibre terminations are needed; handle the cable by the connectors and avoid sharp bends or crushing to maintain signal integrity.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, maintain the minimum bend radius specified by industry SFP28 AOC guidelines, route the cable away from heavy mechanical loads and ensure both connected devices support AOC modules and the target data rates. Use the DDM/DOM readings for proactive monitoring and fault analysis when integrating the cable into production networks.
