BlueOptics SFP-10G-AOC-1M-BO Καλώδιο οπτικής ίνας InfiniBand 1m SFP+ αρσενικό

The BlueOptics SFP-10G-AOC-1M-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable is a 1 meter active optical cable with SFP+ male connectors on both ends. Designed for short-reach, high-speed links, this AOC supports 10 Gbit/s optical transmission over multimode fiber and follows MSA-compatible SFP+ form-factor standards. The pre-terminated assembly provides a plug-and-play connection between SFP+ ports without the need for separate transceivers or patch cables, reducing installation time and potential signal loss.

Advantages

This AOC delivers 10G optical connectivity in a compact, factory-assembled cable that is not susceptible to electromagnetic interference. The integrated transmitter and receiver modules on each end simplify deployment and eliminate the need for manual fiber termination. Compatibility with SFP+ ports and adherence to common MSA specifications enable straightforward interchangeability in environments that support SFP+ active optical cables. The 1 m length is suitable for dense equipment racks and top-of-rack connections where a short, reliable optical link is required.

How to use

Install the BlueOptics SFP-10G-AOC-1M-BO by inserting each SFP+ connector into the corresponding SFP+ port of the devices to be connected. Ensure the equipment supports SFP+ AOC modules and that ports are powered down or hot-pluggable according to the device manufacturer’s guidelines. Once seated, the link should negotiate at up to 10 Gbit/s; verify link status and interface settings on the connected devices. No fiber polishing or patchcord cleaning is required because the cable is factory-terminated.

Recommendations

Before deployment, confirm device compatibility with SFP+ active optical cables and enable any required firmware settings for third-party AOCs. Avoid sharp bends and excessive tensile stress on the cable; route the 1 m AOC inside racks without twisting. For monitoring, use the host equipment’s diagnostic interface if it supports Digital Diagnostics Monitoring (DDM) to obtain supply voltage, temperature, laser bias/current and optical power readings when available.
