Μονάδα οπτικών ινών SFP CBO SFP-10G-BX-D-40KM-SW-BO 10 Gbit/s LC Singlemode 40 km

The BlueOptics Fiber optic SFP module CBO SFP-10G-BX-D-40KM-SW-BO is a single-mode SFP transceiver that supports 10 Gbps data throughput and is designed for long-distance point-to-point fiber links. Featuring an LC duplex connector and a wavelength pair for bi-directional transmission over a single fiber, this module extends network reach up to 40 km when used with compatible single-mode fiber. It is intended for use in enterprise switches, routers and telecom equipment that require stable 10G uplinks and long-reach connectivity.

Advantages

This SFP module offers a compact form factor compatible with standard SFP ports and enables 10 Gbps performance over single-mode fiber for extended distances. Its LC connector and bidirectional (BX) wavelength design reduce cabling complexity by allowing duplex signals on a single fiber pair. The module is suitable for hot-plug installation and integrates with common network equipment to provide predictable latency and throughput for critical uplinks.

Suitable for

• Long-distance 10G uplinks between data center switches and aggregation devices
• Fiber connections between buildings or campus network segments up to 40 km
• Carrier and telecom edge links requiring single-mode, bi-directional transmission
• Replacement or upgrade of existing 10G SFP ports on compatible devices

Key specifications

• Data rate: 10 Gbps
• Fiber type: Single-mode
• Maximum reach: Up to 40 km (with appropriate single-mode fiber)
• Connector: LC duplex
• Transmission method: Bi-directional (BX) over wavelength pair
• Form factor: SFP

How to use

Insert the SFP module into an empty compatible SFP slot on the network device until it clicks into place, observing electrostatic discharge precautions. Connect the LC fiber cable according to the module's TX/RX orientation and ensure the remote end uses the complementary wavelength direction. Configure link settings on connected devices as required for 10 Gbps operation and verify link status via device management interfaces or LEDs. For best results, use single-mode fiber rated for long-distance transmission and ensure connectors are clean and undamaged.

Recommendations

Use this transceiver in matched pairs with compatible single-mode SFP modules and maintain clean connectors. Verify device compatibility and firmware requirements before deployment, and test links after installation to confirm expected throughput and reach.
