BlueOptics LRCABLE2M-BO Καλώδιο οπτικών ινών InfiniBand 2 m LC κίτρινο

The BlueOptics LRCABLE2M-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable 2 m LC Yellow is a single-mode patch cable designed for reliable optical connections in networking and data centre environments. It features LC connectors on both ends and uses G.657.A1 fibre with a 9 µm core diameter to support full-duplex optical transmission over a 2 metre length. The cable is intended for high-speed data transfer between switches, transceivers and patch panels where low-loss, single-mode performance is required.

Advantages

This LC-LC fibre optic cable provides laser-optimized single-mode performance with consistent attenuation characteristics across the fibre. The compact LC connectors reduce port space on high-density equipment and the 2 m length offers flexibility for short interconnects within racks and between adjacent devices. The jacket is LSZH and flame-retardant, reducing smoke and toxic emission risks in confined equipment rooms.

Suitable for

• Interconnecting InfiniBand switches and transceivers in data centres
• Patch panel to transceiver or panel-to-panel fibre connections
• High-density rack environments requiring LC connector interfaces
• Short-distance single-mode links where low bend sensitivity is beneficial

Key specifications

• Fibre type: G.657.A1 single-mode
• Core diameter: 9 µm
• Connector type: LC to LC
• Mode: Full duplex
• Length: 2 metres
• Jacket material: LSZH (low smoke zero halogen), flame-retardant
• Colour: Yellow

How to use

Inspect connectors and ports for dust or debris before mating. Align the LC connector latch and insert firmly into the LC port until it clicks to ensure a secure connection. Use the 2 m cable to link adjacent devices, patch panels or optical transceivers; avoid sharp bends and maintain the minimum bend radius specified for G.657.A1 fibre. When disconnecting, press the connector latch before withdrawing to protect the ferrule and port.

Recommendations

Store the cable coiled without tight loops and avoid repeated tight bending near the connector boots. Clean connector endfaces with appropriate fibre cleaning tools prior to installation. Use strain relief and cable management in racks to prevent excess mechanical stress and to maintain consistent optical performance.
