Καλώδιο InfiniBand CBO OS6860-CBL-40-BL QSFP σε QSFP 0,5 m, μαύρο

The InfiniBand cable CBO OS6860-CBL-40-BL QSFP to QSFP 0.5 m is a passive, short-reach copper interconnect designed for high-speed links between QSFP-enabled switches, adapters and storage devices. With a 0.5 m length and compact black jacket, this cable suits dense rack and server environments where space and signal integrity matter. It provides a direct QSFP-to-QSFP connection that simplifies cabling and reduces the need for intermediate transceivers.

Advantages

This passive InfiniBand cable delivers low-latency, high-bandwidth connectivity suitable for short-distance links. Its QSFP-to-QSFP terminations ensure straightforward compatibility with devices that support QSFP modules and ports. The 0.5 m length minimizes excess cable slack in rack-mounted setups and helps maintain tidy cable management. The black outer jacket offers a neutral appearance that integrates with standard server-room installations.

How to use

Insert each QSFP connector into the corresponding QSFP port on the devices to be linked, ensuring connectors are fully seated and retention latches engage. No external power or configuration is required for passive operation; devices should recognise the physical link and negotiate speed and protocol automatically according to their capabilities. Avoid sharp bends and excessive pulling forces during installation to preserve signal integrity.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this 0.5 m cable in short, direct connections within the same rack or adjacent racks. Verify device compatibility with QSFP passive direct-attach cables and ensure port firmware and drivers are up to date. Maintain cable bend radius and avoid routing near high-interference equipment.
