BlueOptics K2Q47A-BO Καλώδιο οπτικών ινών InfiniBand 15 m MPO 4x LC

The BlueOptics K2Q47A-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable 15 m MPO 4x LC is a multi‑fibre assembly designed for high‑speed, full‑duplex data links in server rooms and data centres. It uses OM4 multimode fibre with a 50 µm core diameter and provides a 15 metre reach between MPO and four LC terminations. The cable supports dense connectivity where MPO trunks are converted to multiple LC ports for switch, storage or compute interconnects.

Advantages

This 15 m OM4 cable delivers low insertion loss and high bandwidth for short‑range, high‑throughput links. The MPO to 4x LC breakout design simplifies connections between high‑density patch panels and individual transceivers. The use of multimode OM4 fibre improves modal bandwidth and supports common InfiniBand and Ethernet multimode transceiver modules. The construction is intended to provide consistent performance and reliable full‑duplex communication in rack and data centre installations.

Suitable for

• Connecting MPO trunk lines to individual LC ports on switches or transceivers
• High‑density patch panels and breakout cabling in data centres
• InfiniBand links and short‑reach multimode Ethernet connections
• Server, storage and switch interconnects requiring multi‑fibre breakouts

Key specifications

• Fibre type: OM4 multimode fibre
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Connector A: MPO (multi‑fibre push‑on)
• Connector B: 4 × LC duplex
• Cable length: 15 metres
• Transmission mode: full duplex

How to use

Route the cable through cable management pathways to avoid sharp bends and secure it with appropriate ties or clamps. Connect the MPO end to the MPO trunk or MPO port on a panel or transceiver module, and plug each LC connector into the corresponding LC receptacles on switches, transceivers or patch panels. Ensure connector endfaces are clean before mating to maintain low loss and prevent damage to transceivers. Verify link status and signal integrity after installation using appropriate test equipment or the connected devices' diagnostics.

Recommendations

Maintain a bend radius at least ten times the cable outer diameter, perform fibre endface cleaning before each connection, and store unused connectors with protective caps. For best performance in data centre environments, combine OM4 multimode cables with compatible multimode transceivers and structured cabling components rated for the intended data rates.
