BlueOptics AJ837A-BO Καλώδιο οπτικής ίνας InfiniBand 15 m LC Τιρκουάζ

The BlueOptics AJ837A-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable 15 m LC Turquoise is a multimode OM3 cable designed for high-speed, low-latency data transmission. With LC connectors and a 50 µm core diameter, the cable supports full duplex communication and is suitable for dense networking environments such as server racks and switch interconnects. Its 15 metre length provides a balance between reach and cable management for data centre and enterprise installations.

Advantages

The OM3 multimode construction ensures reliable signal integrity at higher data rates and over moderate distances, while LC connectors offer compact, industry-standard interfacing for InfiniBand equipment. The turquoise jacket provides visual identification for OM3-rated multimode fibre and helps simplify cable routing and maintenance. The cable's 50 µm core supports typical multimode transceivers and contributes to consistent performance in high-throughput environments.

Suitable for

• Interconnecting InfiniBand host channel adapters, switches and storage in data centres
• High-bandwidth server-to-switch links in enterprise networks
• Short- to medium-reach fibre backbones and patching within equipment racks
• Low-latency cluster and HPC networking applications

Key specifications

• Fibre type: OM3 multimode
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Connector type: LC to LC
• Length: 15 m
• Duplex mode: full duplex
• Jacket colour: turquoise (OM3 identification)

How to use

Route the cable between LC ports of InfiniBand switches, host channel adapters or transceivers, ensuring connectors are clean before insertion to prevent signal loss. Maintain gentle bend radii consistent with multimode fibre handling guidelines and secure the cable to rack management accessories to avoid strain on connectors. Use both ends of the LC duplex pair for full duplex operation and verify link status on connected devices after installation.

Recommendations

Inspect and clean LC connector endfaces with appropriate fibre cleaning tools before each connection. Avoid tight bends and kinks; follow manufacturer-recommended minimum bend radius for OM3 multimode fibre. Store and label cables to maintain organised patching and fast troubleshooting in data centre environments.
