BD-R DL Verbatim MDISC 50 GB 10 τεμ. 6x

Verbatim MDISC BD-R DL 50 GB discs provide high-capacity optical storage using a patented, rock-like recording layer that is engineered for long-term preservation. Each pack contains 10 BD-R DL discs in a cakebox, offering native 50 GB capacity per disc and a 6x write speed. The MDISC recording method resists degradation from light, temperature and humidity, making these discs suitable for archiving important files where longevity and data integrity are required.

Advantages

These BD-R DL discs combine double-layer capacity with MDISC archival technology to increase storage density while improving resistance to environmental factors. The 6x write speed balances reliable burning with efficient recording time. The cakebox packaging stores multiple discs compactly and protects them from dust and handling damage.

Suitable for

• Long-term archival of photos and family records
• Backup of music and media libraries
• Storage of legal, medical or financial documents
• Project archives and source code retention

How to use

Use a Blu-ray burner that supports BD-R DL media and the 6x write speed for best results. Insert a disc into the burner, select the data files you wish to archive and choose a burn session configured for BD-R DL media in your burning software. Allow the burn to complete without interruption and verify the disc after writing if your software supports verification. Store written discs vertically in the cakebox or in protective sleeves away from direct sunlight, high heat and high humidity.

Recommendations

For long-term preservation, verify burns and test readability on a separate drive periodically. Store discs in a cool, dry environment and avoid exposure to heat sources and strong sunlight. Keep at least one copy in a different physical location as part of a robust archival strategy.
