BatteryProtect έξυπνος διακόπτης αποσύνδεσης μπαταρίας Victron Energy BPR110022000 12/24V 100A

Victron Energy BatteryProtect smart battery isolator BPR110022000 is a compact protective device designed for 12/24V systems with a continuous current capability of 100A. It monitors battery voltage and disconnects non-essential loads automatically to avoid deep discharge and preserve starter and service batteries. The unit supports common applications in vehicles, boats and off-grid installations and integrates with Victron Energy equipment to provide reliable battery protection and longer battery life.

Advantages

The smart battery isolator prevents deep discharge by disconnecting loads when battery voltage drops below a configurable threshold, and reconnects automatically when voltage recovers. It accepts both 12V and 24V systems and handles up to 100A continuous current, providing robust protection for starter and auxiliary battery circuits. Built-in intelligence reduces manual intervention, improves battery reliability and helps extend battery cycle life in mobile and stationary environments.

Suitable for

• Automotive and recreational vehicles to protect starter and service batteries
• Marine installations on boats and yachts for safeguarding house batteries
• Off-grid solar and backup power systems to prevent battery over-discharge
• Commercial vehicles and specialist equipment with auxiliary loads

Key specifications

• Nominal voltage compatibility: 12V / 24V automatic detection
• Maximum continuous current: 100 A
• Function: automatic load disconnect to prevent deep discharge
• Control: configurable voltage thresholds for disconnect and reconnect
• Protection features: reverse polarity protection and high-current switching
• Mounting: compact chassis suitable for vehicle and panel mounting
• Operating environment: designed for mobile and marine use with vibration tolerance

How to use

Install the BatteryProtect unit on a secure surface close to the battery bank and connect the negative and load circuits according to the wiring guidelines supplied by the manufacturer. Ensure correct polarity and secure terminal connections. The device automatically detects 12V or 24V systems and will manage the load based on set voltage thresholds. Configure the disconnect and reconnect voltage levels where applicable to match battery type and application requirements. After installation, verify operation by applying a load and observing automatic disconnection at the programmed low-voltage limit.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, use the isolator with batteries and charging systems of matching voltage and capacity. Configure voltage thresholds appropriate to battery chemistry (lead‑acid, AGM, gel or lithium) and consult the battery manufacturer’s recommended cutoff values. Periodically inspect connections for corrosion and torque, and keep the device accessible for maintenance. When integrating with other Victron Energy components, follow the system integration guidelines to ensure coordinated battery management.
