Bahco Professional Πριόνι σιδηροπρίονο 225-PLUS

The BAHCO Hacksaw Professional 225-PLUS is a hand hacksaw frame designed for precise cutting tasks. It features a 30 cm blade length and a lightweight aluminium handle that contributes to an overall weight of approximately 700 g. The frame combines durability with a comfortable grip and is intended for accurate manual sawing in workshop and on-site situations. The design uses black, orange and silver details for clear visual identification in a toolbox.

Advantages

The aluminium handle provides a balance of strength and reduced weight, improving handling during repetitive cuts. A 30 cm blade length offers a practical cutting capacity for standard metal and plastic workpieces while keeping the tool compact. The frame geometry is engineered for stable blade tension and straight cuts, helping to maintain cutting accuracy over time. The overall construction supports frequent use in professional and DIY environments.

Suitable for

• Cutting metal pipes and profiles
• Trimming plastic and PVC components
• Workshop fabrication and repair tasks
• On-site maintenance and installation jobs
• Hobbyist and do-it-yourself projects requiring manual sawing

Key specifications

• Blade length: 30 cm
• Handle material: aluminium
• Total weight: approx. 700 g
• Frame colours: black, orange, silver
• Hand-operated hacksaw frame suitable for standard hacksaw blades

How to use

Install a compatible 30 cm hacksaw blade into the frame following the tool's blade mounting points and secure it with the tensioning mechanism. Position the workpiece in a vise or secure it firmly, mark the cut line, and use steady forward strokes with moderate pressure to begin the cut. Maintain even blade tension and a consistent cutting angle to reduce blade binding and to achieve straight, accurate cuts. Replace the blade when teeth are worn or damaged to preserve cutting performance.

Recommendations

For safe and efficient operation, wear appropriate personal protective equipment such as safety glasses and gloves. Use the hacksaw frame with blades matched to the material type and tooth pitch required for metal or plastic cutting. Store the tool in a dry place to prevent corrosion and periodically check the frame and handle for signs of wear or damage before use.
