The B-Tech BT8390-150/B is a horizontal mounting rail designed for System X installations, providing a stable backbone for single- and multi-screen AV setups. Constructed from aluminium with a black finish, the 1500 mm rail combines rigidity and low weight to support interface arms, monitor mounts and other AV accessories. The rail can be mounted to walls, poles or compatible support columns and may be shortened or extended to fit site requirements when used with separately available fixing and extension kits.

Advantages

The aluminium construction delivers a balance of strength and lightness, while the black finish offers a discreet appearance in professional and domestic environments. At 1500 mm length the rail supports a variety of monitor sizes and mounting patterns and is compatible with System X interface arms and mounts for flexible positioning. Its design allows cutting to shorter lengths on site and joining with extension kits to create longer runs, enabling scalable installations.

Suitable for

• Single-monitor mounting on walls or poles
• Multi-screen video walls and grouped displays
• Commercial AV installations in meeting rooms, retail and public spaces
• Home office or residential display mounting

How to use

Install the BT8390-150/B rail by selecting an appropriate mounting location and fixing method for your surface—wall, pole or System X column—using the correct fixing kit for the chosen application (sold separately). Attach interface arms or monitor mounts to the rail at the required positions, sliding or bolting them into place according to the mount manufacturer’s instructions. If a shorter rail is required, cut to length using suitable tools and finish cut edges to prevent damage. For longer runs, join multiple rails with compatible extension kits and ensure all joints and fixings are secure before attaching displays.

Recommendations

Verify the combined weight and mounting pattern of attached monitors and AV equipment against the load capacity of the chosen interface arms and fixings. Use fixing kits and extension accessories specified for System X installations, and follow local building and safety regulations during installation. If in doubt, consult a qualified installer to ensure safe and compliant mounting.
