Its universal 1U form factor enables installation in a variety of rack setups to improve cooling and equipment reliability.

Advantages

This 2-fan roof mounted module combines compact 1U height with a dedicated analog thermostat for temperature-dependent operation. The unit delivers a rated airflow of 280 m³/hour while remaining lightweight (approximately 2.38 kg) and compatible with universal rack installations. The black RAL9005 finish provides a neutral appearance that fits most data center and network cabinet interiors.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Cooling of 19" server and network cabinets
• Maintaining airflow in small to medium rack enclosures
• Supplementary ventilation in equipment rooms or telecom racks

Key specifications

• Model: Logon RAF115BL (also referenced as Lanview RAF115BL-UK)
• Form factor: 1U roof mounted fan module
• Fans: 2 fans
• Thermostat: Analog thermostat
• Airflow: 280 m³/hour
• Color: Black (RAL9005)

How to use

Install the module in the roof position of a compatible 19" rack or cabinet, securing it to the 1U mounting points. Connect the power and set the analog thermostat to the desired activation temperature so the fans operate according to cabinet internal temperature. Ensure that airflow paths are not obstructed and that intake and exhaust vents in the cabinet allow effective circulation.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, place the unit in the cabinet roof to extract hot air upward and keep the thermostat set to trigger before internal temperatures reach equipment manufacturer limits. Periodically inspect and clean fan intakes to prevent dust buildup.
