AV-Repeater ShiverPeaks SP05-00040

The ShiverPeaks SP05-00040 AV repeater extends wired audio-video signals up to 50 meters while supporting refresh rates up to 60 Hz. Designed for installations that require stable transmission over medium distances, this compact black unit maintains signal integrity for common AV setups and is compatible with devices that accept a wired repeater solution. The product is intended to deliver consistent picture and sound quality where a direct cable run would otherwise suffer from degradation.

Advantages

The ShiverPeaks SP05-00040 provides reliable signal extension with minimal setup. Its support for refresh rates up to 60 Hz preserves motion smoothness for video content, while the compact black housing simplifies integration into existing AV racks or wall-mounted installations. As a wired solution, it reduces latency and interference compared with some wireless alternatives and is suited to continuous operation in professional and consumer environments.

Suitable for

• Extending AV signals between devices across rooms or short halls (up to 50 m)
• Conference rooms and meeting spaces requiring stable video and audio transmission
• Digital signage installations where consistent refresh rate and image quality are needed
• Home theater setups that need longer cable runs without loss of signal quality

Key specifications

• Maximum extension distance: 50 metres
• Maximum supported refresh rate: 60 Hz
• Form factor: compact inline repeater unit
• Colour: black
• Connection type: wired AV repeater (for compatible AV cabling)

How to use

Connect the ShiverPeaks SP05-00040 inline between source and display using the appropriate AV cabling. Ensure connectors are fully seated to maintain a secure electrical connection. Place the unit in an accessible position to allow for cable routing and avoid tight bends. After connection, power on all connected devices and verify signal transmission; the repeater should transparently pass video and audio at supported resolutions and up to 60 Hz refresh rate.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use quality shielded cables and avoid running AV cabling near strong electromagnetic sources. Keep the total cable length, including any additional segments, within the specified maximum of 50 metres. If you experience signal loss, check connector seating and cable condition before replacing the repeater.
