ATEN CL5708N κονσόλα rack 48,3 cm (19 inch) μαύρο 1U

The ATEN CL5708N KVM switch provides centralized control of up to 8 computers from a single console. This 1U rack-mountable unit integrates a 19" LED-backlit LCD panel with a maximum resolution of 1280 x 1024 pixels, a keyboard and a touchpad-style mouse interface. Constructed from metal and plastic in a black finish, the CL5708N is designed for continuous operation in server rooms and data centres. The unit supports USB mouse connectivity, adjustable scan intervals for automated monitoring and can be expanded via daisy-chaining to manage larger installations.

Advantages

The CL5708N combines an integrated 19" display, keyboard and touchpad in a compact Slideaway™ 1U enclosure to save rack space. USB mouse support and compatibility with PS/2 or USB keyboards simplify integration with existing systems. Durable metal and plastic construction ensures mechanical reliability for long-term use. An adjustable scan interval enables flexible automatic switching for monitoring multiple systems, and daisy-chain expandability allows scaling from 8 up to 256 computers from a single console.

Suitable for

• Server rooms and data centres requiring consolidated console access
• IT racks where rack space is limited and a 1U integrated console is preferred
• Environments needing USB mouse support and mixed PS/2 or USB keyboard setups
• Installations that may expand via daisy-chaining to manage up to 256 systems

How to use

Mount the CL5708N into a standard 19" rack using the included mounting brackets. Connect the console cables (keyboard, video, mouse) to the integrated console on the front panel, then connect KVM cables from the rear ports to each target computer. Power the unit and configure the scan interval and port settings according to operational needs. When daisy-chaining additional KVM switches, follow the manufacturer’s cabling sequence to ensure correct address assignment and reliable operation.

Recommendations

Place the CL5708N in a well-ventilated rack location and avoid obstructing airflow around the unit. Use certified KVM cabling for reliable signal transmission and label cables and ports to simplify management in multi-server environments. For large installations, plan daisy-chain topology and test port switching and scan intervals during off-peak hours.
