ATEN 2-Port 4K DisplayPort Dual-Display-Mini-Matrix-Boundless-KVM-Switch

The CM1942 is a 2-port 4K DisplayPort dual-display mini-matrix Boundless KVM switch that combines a DisplayPort switch and a 2-port USB 3.1 Gen 1 hub to provide access to two DisplayPort computers from a single USB/HDMI console. It supports two PC operation modes: Single PC Mode, which displays the focused PC across both monitors, and Dual PC Mode, which displays each PC on a separate monitor regardless of KVM focus. The switch supports video resolutions up to 4K DCI (4096 x 2160 @ 60 Hz) and includes a built-in SuperSpeed USB 3.1 Gen 1 hub for peripheral connection and high-speed data transfer.

Advantages

The CM1942 enables quick switching between two computers using pushbuttons, hotkeys, mouse wheel, mouse cursor, or a remote port selector. Boundless Switching lets the user move the mouse cursor across screen borders to change video source seamlessly. Video DynaSync™ optimizes display resolution and eliminates boot-up display problems. Audio Mixer Mode can mix up to two audio sources into a single output. The console supports keyboard and mouse emulation or bypass for broad driver and multifunction device compatibility, plus multilingual keyboard mapping for English, French, Japanese, and German layouts.
