Victron Energy 6-way fuse holder CIP050060000 is designed to mount up to six MEGA-fuse cartridges in a single compact assembly. Intended for use in marine, automotive and off-grid power systems, the unit provides organized protection for multiple high-current circuits while keeping fuses accessible for inspection and replacement. The holder is compatible with MEGA-type fuses and allows clear segregation of circuits to simplify troubleshooting and maintenance.

Advantages

The 6-way configuration consolidates multiple high-current protection points into one space-saving module, reducing wiring clutter and improving panel neatness. Its construction facilitates easy fuse insertion and removal, which shortens maintenance time and lowers the risk of connection errors. The design supports clear labelling of individual circuits and helps maintain secure, reliable connections for heavy-current applications.

Suitable for

• Marine electrical distribution panels and boat installations
• Automotive and commercial vehicle power systems
• Off-grid solar and battery-based installations
• Engine bays, generator sets, and other high-current applications

Key specifications

• Number of fuse positions: 6
• Compatible fuse type: MEGA-style cartridge fuses
• Mounting form factor: single modular holder for panel or enclosure mounting
• Connection method: heavy-duty fuse terminals suitable for high-current cabling
• Material considerations: durable insulating body designed for electrical applications

How to use

Install the fuse holder in a dry, ventilated location inside an equipment cabinet or panel using the recommended mounting points. Fit each MEGA-type fuse cartridge into the allocated position until it seats firmly, and connect the appropriate heavy‑gauge cables to the terminal points making sure all terminations are tight and free of corrosion. Label each circuit position to match your system wiring diagram. Before commissioning, verify continuity and correct polarity where applicable, and test circuits at low load to ensure proper operation.

Recommendations

Use MEGA-type fuses with current ratings appropriate to each circuit and ensure the holder is installed away from direct moisture and excessive heat. Regularly inspect connections for tightness and signs of wear; replace fuses only with the correct type and rating. Follow applicable marine, automotive or electrical standards for installation and protection to maintain safety and system integrity.
