ShiverPeaks Modular Patch Connector Cat. 6A adapter 08-01041 is a Cat6A-rated keystone-style adapter designed for high-performance copper network cabling. The adapter provides a modular interface for patch panels, wall outlets and keystone plates, enabling reliable connections in 10 Gigabit Ethernet networks and structured cabling systems that require Cat6A performance and full shielding.

Advantages

The adapter supports Cat6A performance for transmissions up to 10 Gbps and is built to preserve signal integrity with full shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference. Its keystone-style modular form factor allows simple installation into standard patch panels and faceplates, enabling quick reconfiguration and maintenance. The design ensures consistent pair alignment and impedance control for stable, low-loss connections in professional network environments.

Suitable for

• 10 Gigabit Ethernet patching and extensions
• Structured cabling installations in offices and data closets
• Integration into keystone patch panels and wall plates
• Shielded twisted-pair (STP/FTP) network environments

Key specifications

• Category: Cat. 6A performance suitable for 10 Gbps
• Form factor: Keystone-style modular adapter for standard outlets and panels
• Shielding: Fully shielded design to mitigate EMI/RFI
• Connector type: RJ45 coupler interface for copper Ethernet
• Compatibility: Designed for use with shielded Cat6A cables and keystone frames
• Operating environment: Indoor structured cabling systems

How to use

Insert the keystone adapter into a compatible patch panel slot, wall plate or keystone frame until it snaps into place. Connect RJ45 patch cables or terminated Cat6A cables into each side of the adapter to create a continuous, shielded link. Ensure cable shielding is properly terminated to the outlet or panel grounding system to maintain the integrity of the shielded connection. Verify link integrity and performance with a suitable network tester after installation.

Recommendations

Use the adapter in shielded installation environments and maintain continuous shielding by grounding both cable and patch panel/faceplate components. Avoid sharp bends near the connector and follow Cat6A installation practices for cable separation and cable management to preserve 10 Gbps performance.
