Απογυμνωτής καλωδίων Knipex 16 20 165 SB

The Knipex 16 20 165 SB cable stripper is a compact tool for stripping round cables and preparing conductors. Featuring a turnable blade for both circular and longitudinal cutting, an adjustable cutting-depth screw and a self-tightening holding lever, it accommodates cable diameters from 8 mm to 28 mm. The impact-proof plastic housing, soft-component grip areas and a spare blade stored in the handle support reliable, slip-resistant handling in professional and home-networking tasks.

Advantages

The tool offers precise stripping control thanks to its cutting-depth adjustment screw and a turnable blade for multiple cutting modes. A self-tightening holding lever secures the cable during work, while the spare blade inside the handle enables quick replacement. Soft-component material on the handle and lever improves grip and reduces slipping; the impact-proof plastic housing keeps the tool lightweight yet durable.

Suitable for

• Stripping round network and power cables (8 mm–28 mm)
• Preparing cables for connectors and terminals
• Field service, installations and home networking tasks

How to use

Place the cable into the tool and secure it with the self-tightening holding lever. Adjust the cutting depth using the screw to match the cable insulation thickness. Use the turnable blade for circular or longitudinal cuts as required; rotate the blade to change cutting mode. After cutting, remove the insulation and, if needed, replace the blade by accessing the spare blade stored in the handle.

Recommendations

For safe and precise stripping, set the cutting-depth screw conservatively at first and test on a scrap section of the same cable. Wear appropriate eye protection during cutting and replace the blade when cuts become rough to avoid conductor damage.
