Αντίβαρο Manfrotto 172 mini, 1,3 kg, μαύρο, για σταθεροποίηση τριπόδων και βραχιόνων

Manfrotto 172 Mini Counterweight is a compact 1.3 kg ballast designed to increase the stability of light stands, booms and support systems. Finished in black, this counterweight adds a low-profile load to help prevent tipping or imbalance when using cameras, lights or other accessories. Its small size and modest weight make it suitable for situations that require additional counterbalance without adding bulk, while the clamp-compatible design fits a range of support bars.

Advantages

The counterweight provides reliable ballast in a compact form factor that is easy to transport and store. It is made to integrate with common studio and location support hardware and improves overall balance for safer setup and operation. The black finish reduces visual distraction on set and the 1.3 kg mass offers a predictable, steady lowering of a boom or stand centre of gravity.

Suitable for

• Balancing light stands and booms in studio and location shoots
• Stabilizing support systems for cameras, LED panels and small fixtures
• Temporary counterbalance needs during rig adjustments or repositioning
• Situations where a compact, transportable ballast is preferred

Key specifications

• Weight: 1.3 kg
• Colour: black
• Compatibility: clamps on bars with diameters from Ø 13 mm to 30 mm
• Form factor: compact, single-piece counterweight

How to use

Attach the counterweight to a compatible bar on the stand or boom so that the weight is positioned opposite the load to be balanced. Ensure the clamp or attachment point on the support holds the counterweight securely and that the bar diameter is within the 13–30 mm range. Check balance and adjust position along the bar as required until the stand or boom remains steady without excessive tilt. Re-check fittings and balance after adding or removing additional gear.

Recommendations

Use this counterweight as part of a broader rigging safety check: verify load limits of stands and booms, evenly distribute ballast when required, and secure any connections before operation. For larger loads, combine multiple counterweights or use heavier ballast solutions to maintain stability.
