Αντάπτορας HP DisplayPort σε DVI-D FH973AA

Converts the DisplayPort connector on an HP Compaq Business Desktop computer to a single-link DVI-D port. The adapter features a latching DisplayPort connector on one end and a DVI-D connector on the other for connection to a DVI-D monitor cable, enabling use of DVI-D displays with compatible HP Compaq systems.

Advantages

The adapter provides a simple solution for connecting a DVI-D monitor to a computer with a DisplayPort output without requiring additional drivers. The latching DisplayPort connector ensures a secure physical connection, while the compact, passive design requires no external power. This makes it suitable for straightforward video signal conversion where single-link DVI-D resolution is sufficient.

Key specifications

• Input: DisplayPort (latching connector)
• Output: Single-link DVI-D
• Compatibility: Designed for HP Compaq Business Desktop DisplayPort output
• Power: Passive adapter, no external power required

How to use

Ensure the computer is powered off or the display output is inactive, then insert the latching DisplayPort connector into the computer’s DisplayPort. Connect a DVI-D monitor cable to the adapter’s DVI-D port and to the monitor. Power on the computer and monitor; the system should detect the display automatically. For best results use a DVI-D cable that supports single-link resolution.

Recommendations

Use this adapter when the monitor and graphics output support single-link DVI-D. For dual-link DVI or higher resolutions, consider a different solution. Periodically check connectors for dust or damage and ensure the DisplayPort latch engages to maintain a stable connection.
