Ανιχνευτής μέγιστης θερμότητας Olympia 6120

The Olympia 6120 is a wired interconnectable surface-mounted rate-of-rise heat detector designed for early detection of rapid temperature increases. Powered by a single 1.5V AAA battery and housed in a compact casing, the detector is intended for installation on walls or ceilings where prompt response to sudden heat changes is required. Its low-profile dimensions (70mm × 65mm × 25mm) allow discreet placement while maintaining reliable operation for residential and light commercial environments.

Advantages

The device senses rapid temperature increases rather than a fixed threshold, improving response to fast-developing fires and reducing false alarms from slow ambient changes. Interconnectable wiring enables multiple detectors to alert together, providing broader area warning coverage. The surface-mounted design simplifies installation on existing structures without recessed mounting, and the AAA battery operation offers easy replacement and maintenance.

How to use

Install the Olympia 6120 on a suitable wall or ceiling location following applicable fire safety codes and the manufacturer’s installation instructions. Connect the interconnect wiring if multiple detectors are used, ensuring correct polarity and secure terminals. Insert a fresh 1.5V AAA battery and verify operation using the unit’s test procedure or system test function. Place detectors away from drafts, direct heat sources like radiators, and obstructions to ensure accurate sensing. Periodically test the detector and replace the battery as recommended to maintain reliable performance.

Recommendations

Test the detector regularly and replace the AAA battery annually or when indicated by reduced response during testing. Use wired interconnect wiring to link multiple units for simultaneous alerts in larger areas. For locations with frequent slow temperature changes, combine rate-of-rise detectors with other detection types as appropriate to balance sensitivity and false alarm reduction.
