The Phanteks D30-120 is a 120 mm case fan designed for efficient cooling in modern PC builds. It features a 30 mm thick aerodynamic blade design derived from Phanteks' T30 series, a Fluid Dynamic Bearing for reduced noise and longer lifespan, and a D-RGB lighting system integrated around the frame and blades. The fan is available in regular and reversed airflow models to allow flexible placement and a clean visual appearance when combined in multi-fan setups. It supports standard PWM control and is compatible with Digital-RGB enabled motherboards and Phanteks Digital-RGB products.

Advantages

The D30-120 delivers improved noise-normalized performance due to its increased 30 mm thickness and aerodynamic blades, making it suitable for use on radiators and behind mesh or dust filters. Integrated D-RGB lighting is visible from all sides and the reflective blade surfaces provide a smooth lighting effect. Multiple fans can be linked together with bridge connectors and screw cover plates to reduce cable clutter and produce a clean, uniform appearance. Standard PWM control allows direct speed management from the motherboard.

Suitable for

• Case cooling for gaming and workstation PCs
• Radiator cooling in liquid-cooling loops
• Setups requiring visible D-RGB lighting accents
• Multi-fan configurations prioritizing clean cable routing and aesthetics

How to use

Install the D30-120 in the desired orientation depending on the required airflow direction (regular or reversed). Secure the fan to the case, radiator, or mounting bracket using the provided screws, and cover visible screws with the supplied screw covers for a cleaner look if desired. Connect the PWM power cable to a motherboard fan header for speed control and connect the Digital-RGB cable to a compatible Digital-RGB header or controller to enable lighting. Use bridge connectors to link up to four D30 fans together to simplify cabling.

Recommendations

For optimal cooling and noise performance, use the D30-120 on radiators or behind mesh filters, control fan speed via the motherboard PWM header, and link multiple fans with bridge connectors while concealing screws with the supplied covers for a streamlined build.
