Ανεμιστήρας Akasa Viper R 14cm

The Akasa Viper R 14cm fan is a 140 mm case/heatsink fan with a distinctive black and yellow design. It fits a 120 mm mounting pattern while using a 140 mm blade diameter to provide increased airflow. The fan operates at 12 V with a speed range from 600 to 1600 RPM and is built for a balance between cooling performance and low noise.

Advantages

S-FLOW blade geometry delivers up to 30% more airflow than a standard fan at the same speed. The integrated PWM controller with Soft Switching Commutation (SSC) ensures smooth, quiet speed regulation. Hydro Dynamic Bearing (HDB) increases durability and reduces operational noise, with a rated life of up to 50,000 hours. The larger 14 cm blade on a 12 cm fitting provides more focused, blind-spot cooling for cases and heatsinks.

Suitable for

• Case airflow improvement where a 120 mm mount is used but higher airflow is desired
• Heatsink cooling requiring concentrated airflow
• PC builds prioritizing low noise and long bearing life

How to use

Install the fan into a compatible 120 mm mounting location using the four mounting holes. Connect the fan to a motherboard fan header or a PWM-capable controller to enable automatic speed regulation. Ensure the airflow direction matches your intended case ventilation or heatsink cooling layout. Maintain standard precautions for PC components: power off the system before installation and secure cables to avoid obstruction of the blades.

Recommendations

For optimal results, use the Akasa Viper R on intake or exhaust positions where increased focused airflow is needed. Enable PWM control on the motherboard to allow the SSC-equipped PWM IC to manage fan speed for quieter operation. Regularly check for dust buildup and clean the fan blades to maintain airflow and prolong bearing life.
