The SanDisk QuickFlow microSD UHS-I Card USB-A Reader (model SDDR-B731-GN6NN) is a compact USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A reader made for fast transfer of microSD card content to computers with Type-A ports. Designed for creators using DSLRs, mirrorless cameras and action cameras, it supports high-resolution RAW images and 4K UHD video workflows while remaining small enough to carry in a camera bag or pocket. The reader is compatible with USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 Type-A ports and is covered by a 5-year limited warranty.

Advantages

The reader delivers industry-leading performance for UHS-I microSD cards with read speeds up to 250 MB/s and write speeds up to 150 MB/s when paired with compatible cards, enabling fast offload of large photo and video files. Its USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A connector ensures broad compatibility with most computers produced in the last decade. The unit is compact, lightweight, and built for regular use.

How to use

Insert a compatible microSD card into the reader’s card slot, then plug the reader into a Type-A USB port on your computer. The operating system should recognize the reader as external storage; open the drive to copy, move or edit files. For best transfer speeds, use a UHS‑I microSD card that supports the higher read/write rates and connect to a USB 3.2 Gen 1 or USB 3.0 port.

Recommendations

To maximize performance, pair the reader with a high-performance UHS‑I microSD card (for example, the SanDisk Extreme PRO microSDXC UHS‑I series) and connect to a USB 3.2 Gen 1 or 3.0 Type-A port. Avoid removing the card during active transfers and store the reader in a protective compartment to prevent physical damage.
