This Micro USB to terminal block adapter from DELOCK (model 65517) provides a Micro USB 6-pin connector on one side and a 6p terminal-block style connection on the other, allowing single wires with open ends to be connected for special industrial applications. The adapter is finished in black and green and is intended to change the gender/connection type of Micro USB interfaces where a direct wire connection is required.

Advantages

The adapter enables straightforward conversion between a Micro USB plug and a 6p terminal-style connection without soldering. Its compact form factor supports installation in confined spaces and the molded housing protects the connector contacts during use. The design is suitable for quick wiring and testing in industrial or prototyping environments.

Suitable for

• Connecting single wires with stripped ends to a Micro USB 6p interface
• Industrial control and automation wiring where a terminal connection is required
• Prototyping and testing of devices using Micro USB 6p signals

How to use

Strip the insulation from each wire to the recommended length for the terminal side, insert the exposed conductor into the corresponding terminal pin, and secure according to the terminal mechanism (e.g., screw or clamp). Connect the Micro USB end to the mating Micro USB receptacle on your device. Verify pin assignment and wiring before applying power to prevent damage.

Recommendations

Check the pinout of your Micro USB device and match each wire to the correct terminal position before making connections. Use appropriate wire gauges and ensure secure fixing to avoid intermittent contact in industrial environments.
