Alcatel RSI Διακομιστής δρομολόγησης

For service providers and large enterprises that demand uncompromising performance and scalability, the Alcatel RSI Routing Server stands apart with its modular architecture and up to 2 Tbps system capacity. Unlike fixed-configuration routers, this chassis adapts to evolving network demands with five IOM/MDA slots and dual control module/fabric slots, enabling a mix of 1GE to 400GE interfaces. Powered by Nokia SR OS, it delivers carrier-grade reliability, extensive protocol support, and hardware-based forwarding for deterministic performance.

Highlights

• Modular service router chassis with 7 slots: 2 control module/fabric and 5 IOM/MDA
• Up to 2 Tbps system capacity with distributed, hardware-based forwarding
• Runs Nokia SR OS with support for IPv4, IPv6, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, ISIS, RSVP-TE, LDP, VPLS, VPRN, EVPN, and Segment Routing
• Redundant control plane, fabric, power supplies, and fan trays for high availability
• Supports modular interface cards for 1GE, 10GE, 25GE, 40GE, 50GE, 100GE, and 400GE Ethernet
• Rack-mountable 14 RU form factor with NEBS Level 3 and ETSI compliance

In daily use

Deployed at the service provider edge, aggregation, or core, this chassis handles demanding traffic with hierarchical QoS and extensive traffic management. Its virtualization capabilities—VRFs, VPLS, VPRN—enable multi-tenant service isolation, while security features like ACLs, DDoS protection, IPsec, and MACsec safeguard the network. Management is simplified through console (RJ-45), management Ethernet, and USB interfaces, with high-performance multi-core control plane processors and large memory for extensive routing tables.
