ACTIDATA actiLib Kodiak 3416 BTL 3U Base Module - 1x LTO-8 HH SAS (40 slots έως 1,2 PB)

The ACTIDATA actiLib Kodiak 3416 BTL 3U Base Module is a high-performance tape library designed for scalable data backup and archiving. Featuring a single LTO-8 half-height SAS drive and 40 cartridge slots, it delivers native capacity up to 480 TB and compressed capacity up to 1.2 PB, making it ideal for medium to large enterprises requiring reliable, long-term data retention.

Advantages

This tape library offers exceptional storage density in a compact 3U rackmount form factor, with hot-swappable power supply and integrated barcode reader for efficient media management. The AES 256-bit hardware encryption ensures data security, while the SAS 12Gb/s interface provides fast data transfer rates of up to 360 MB/s native and 900 MB/s compressed. The integrated robotic arm automates tape handling, reducing manual intervention and operational costs.

Suitable for

• Enterprise backup and disaster recovery
• Archiving of large datasets (e.g., media, healthcare, finance)
• Compliance-driven data retention
• Integration with major backup software like IBM Spectrum Protect, Veeam, and Veritas Backup Exec
