ACT μαύρο 20 μέτρα U/UTP CAT5E καλώδιο patch crossover με βύσματα RJ45

The ACT Black 20 meter U/UTP CAT5E patch cable is a 20 m network cable with RJ-45 connectors designed for reliable Ethernet connections in office, home and server-room environments. The cable uses unshielded/unscreened twisted pairs (U/UTP) and CAT5E performance characteristics to support typical Ethernet speeds and stable data transmission over medium distances. The black outer jacket gives a neutral, professional appearance while the gold-plated contacts on the RJ-45 plugs help maintain consistent signal contact.

Advantages

This CAT5E patch cable provides a balance of performance and flexibility for structured cabling needs. Its 20 m length covers longer patch runs without intermediate couplers, and gold-plated RJ-45 connectors reduce contact oxidation for improved long-term connection quality. The U/UTP twisted-pair construction minimizes crosstalk within the cable and supports standard Ethernet applications while maintaining a slim, easy-to-route profile.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers and patch panels in offices and data closets
• Linking desktop computers, printers and networked storage over longer runs
• Temporary or permanent cabling in home networks and small server rooms
• Ethernet installations where CAT5E performance is sufficient

Key specifications

• Cable category: CAT5E (U/UTP)
• Length: 20 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts
• Colour: black (also available in red accents)
• Construction: twisted pair, unshielded

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet ports on network devices such as switches, routers or network interface cards until the latch clicks. Ensure cable routing avoids tight bends and heavy compressive forces to maintain signal integrity; leave some slack at connection points and secure the cable with appropriate clips or cable management accessories. For best results, verify link status on connected devices and perform a basic network test to confirm connectivity and expected data rates.

Recommendations

Use this CAT5E U/UTP patch cable for standard 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet connections where CAT5E performance meets requirements. Avoid running the cable in close parallel alongside high-voltage power lines for extended distances to reduce potential interference. For environments with significant electromagnetic interference or where higher bandwidth is required, consider shielded or higher-category cabling.
