ACT 17 μέτρα LSZH πολύτροπο 50/125 OM3 καλώδιο patch οπτικής ίνας duplex με βύσματα LC

The ACT 17 meter LSZH Multimode 50/125 OM3 fiber patch cable with duplex LC connectors provides a reliable optical link for high-speed networks. Designed for applications requiring wide bandwidth and low attenuation, this OM3 multimode cable supports full-duplex transmission over a 50 µm core. The LSZH (low smoke zero halogen) jacket reduces hazardous emissions in case of fire, making the cable suitable for enclosed or public installations where safety and minimal smoke are important.

Advantages

This OM3 fiber patch cable delivers consistent multimode performance with reduced modal dispersion for high data rates. Duplex LC connectors allow compact, high-density connections and straightforward mating in racks and patch panels. The LSZH outer jacket minimizes toxic and corrosive gas release in fire scenarios while offering flexibility for routing and installation. The 17 meter length provides a balance between reach and manageability for server rooms, distribution areas, and inter-rack connections.

Suitable for

• Data center horizontal and inter-rack connections
• High-performance network links and aggregation
• Telecommunications rooms and LAN backbone wiring
• Environments requiring low-smoke, zero-halogen materials

Key specifications

• Fiber type: Multimode OM3
• Core/cladding diameter: 50/125 µm
• Connector type: Duplex LC to Duplex LC
• Length: 17 meters
• Jacket material: LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen)
• Transmission: Full duplex
• Typical applications: Short- to medium-reach high-bandwidth links

How to use

Install the ACT 17 meter OM3 fiber patch cable by aligning and inserting the duplex LC connectors into the corresponding LC ports on network equipment, transceivers, or patch panels. Ensure correct polarity for transmit and receive pairs to maintain full-duplex communication. Route the cable avoiding tight bends and excessive pulling force; follow recommended bend radius guidelines for multimode fiber. Secure the cable with appropriate cable management accessories and verify link light indicators and signal levels after connection.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, handle the cable by the connector bodies rather than bending the fiber, maintain a minimum bend radius as specified for OM3 multimode fiber, and use dust caps on unused connectors to prevent contamination. Perform end-to-end testing after installation to confirm attenuation and link integrity, and select LC-compatible transceivers rated for OM3 where applicable.
