ACT 15 μέτρα Singlemode 9/125 OS2 Duplex θωρακισμένο καλώδιο patch οπτικών ινών με βύσματα LC

The ACT 15 meter singlemode 9/125 OS2 duplex armored fiber patch cable with LC connectors provides a metal-armored outer layer for mechanical protection in harsh environments. This armored patchcord is intended for applications where cables may be exposed to abrasion, crushing or outdoor/industrial conditions. It is a duplex singlemode cable (9/125 µm OS2) with LC terminations designed for reliable, low-loss connections in high-speed networks.

Advantages

Armored construction gives enhanced mechanical protection against crushing and rodents while maintaining optical performance of a 9/125 OS2 singlemode duplex cable. LC connectors ensure a compact, industry-standard duplex interface. A 15 meter length supports flexible routing in equipment racks, industrial cabinets or outdoor enclosures where additional cable strength is required.

How to use

Route the armored fiber patch cable between devices without bending the cable beyond its minimum bend radius and avoid tensile loads that exceed specified limits. Insert the LC connectors into corresponding LC ports on transceivers, switches or patch panels until they click. For outdoor or industrial use, secure both ends and any exposed runs to strain-relief points or cable management to prevent movement that could stress connectors or the cable armor.

Recommendations

Use the armored LC patch cable where mechanical protection is required; inspect connectors for contamination before mating and follow standard fiber handling procedures (cleaning, avoiding sharp bends, and protecting endfaces) to maintain low insertion loss and long-term reliability.
