ACT 10 μέτρα LSZH πολύτροπο 50/125 OM3 καλώδιο patch οπτικών ινών duplex με βύσματα SC

The ACT Fiber patch cable duplex SC connectors 10 meter LSZH Multimode 50/125 OM3 is a pre-terminated optical fiber assembly designed for indoor network links that require high bandwidth and reliable duplex transmission. This 10 m multimode OM3 cable uses SC connectors on both ends to provide stable plug-and-play connectivity for switches, patch panels and active equipment. The LSZH outer jacket reduces toxic fumes and corrosive gases in case of fire, making the cable suitable for enclosed spaces and installation paths with safety requirements.

Advantages

This patch cable delivers consistent signal integrity over the specified 10 m length, supporting high-speed multimode optical networks. The use of OM3 multimode fiber enables improved bandwidth for 850 nm VCSEL-based equipment and supports short-range 10/40/100 Gbps links where applicable. SC duplex connectors provide a durable push-pull mating interface with clear polarity management. The LSZH jacket enhances safety in indoor installations without compromising flexibility or handling.

Suitable for

• Data center horizontal and patch panel connections
• Local area network (LAN) links between switches and transceivers
• Short-range high-speed links using OM3 multimode fiber
• Indoor environments with fire-safety or low-smoke requirements

Key specifications

• Fiber type: Multimode 50/125 µm OM3
• Connector type: Duplex SC on both ends
• Length: 10 meters
• Jacket material: LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen)
• Polarity: Duplex/paired (suitable for Tx/Rx duplex links)
• Typical applications: 10/40/100 Gbps short-range multimode links

How to use

Inspect both SC connectors and the cable jacket for visible damage before installation. Route the 10 m cable through cable management or conduits as required, avoiding sharp bends and excessive pulling force. Insert each SC connector into the corresponding SC adapter or transceiver port until it clicks, observing correct polarity for transmit and receive channels. For best performance, keep connectors clean and use appropriate dust caps when ports are unused. Periodically check connections and clean endfaces with approved fiber cleaning tools if signal degradation is observed.

Recommendations

Use this OM3 LSZH duplex SC patch cable for indoor backbone and patching where low smoke properties are required. Avoid tight bend radii (follow manufacturer minimum bend radius), limit tensile stress during installation, and store spare lengths coiled without kinks. Clean fiber endfaces before mating and use documented polarity practices when connecting duplex transceivers to ensure correct link operation.
