3M Cubitron II Δίσκος ινών 125x22 mm, κόκκος 36+ — Συσκευασία 25 τεμ.

3M Cubitron II Fiber Disc 125x22 mm, grit 36+ — Pack of 25 fiber abrasive discs are designed for high-performance grinding and surface preparation on metal and other hard materials. The 125×22 mm discs suit standard 125 mm backing pads and angle grinders. Cubitron II ceramic grain provides a fast cut rate and consistent edge retention, enabling efficient material removal and prolonged disc life compared with conventional abrasives.

Advantages

The Cubitron II fiber discs offer rapid stock removal and reduced heat generation due to the engineered ceramic grain that fractures to form sharper cutting points. Discs maintain abrasive performance over extended use, which helps lower cycle times and reduces the need for frequent disc changes. The fiber backing gives dimensional stability and resistance to loading during aggressive grinding, while the 36+ grit balances aggressive cutting with surface preparation for subsequent finishing operations.

Suitable for

• Grinding and weld removal on steel and stainless steel
• Surface preparation before painting or coating
• Deburring and edge blending on ferrous metals
• Removing mill scale and rust from metal surfaces
• Preparation of metal parts for fabrication and assembly

Key specifications

• Disc diameter: 125 mm
• Arbor hole diameter: 22 mm
• Abrasive grain: engineered ceramic (Cubitron II)
• Grit: 36+ (coarse, for aggressive stock removal)
• Backing: fiber disc construction for durability and stability
• Pack quantity: 25 discs per pack

How to use

Select a compatible 125 mm backing pad and mount the disc securely on the angle grinder according to the tool manufacturer's instructions. Use appropriate grinder speed and light, consistent pressure to allow the engineered grain to cut efficiently; avoid excessive force that can increase heat and wear. For best results, keep the workpiece and disc moving to prevent gouging and to achieve an even surface. Replace discs when cutting performance drops or when the abrasive surface is worn.

Recommendations

Use personal protective equipment including eye protection, hearing protection, gloves and respiratory protection suitable for metal dust. Verify the angle grinder’s maximum RPM rating is compatible with the disc speed. Store discs in a dry environment away from extreme temperatures and humidity to preserve abrasive performance.
