3M Αλουμινένια ταινία 143650 50 mm x 50 m

3M Aluminium Tape 143650 is an aluminium foil tape with a rubber-based adhesive and an easy-release liner, supplied in 50 mm x 50 m rolls. Designed for insulation, sealing and patching, it provides a reflective metal surface that reduces heat and light transmission and bonds to a variety of substrates. The product meets the low flammability rating DIN 4102 B1 and has a low water vapour transmission rate, making it suitable for HVAC, automotive and general repair applications.

Advantages

The combination of aluminium foil and rubber adhesive delivers versatile holding and sealing capabilities on many surfaces. The tape’s reflective surface aids in heat and light management, while the rubber adhesive ensures strong initial tack and adhesion. It meets DIN 4102 B1 for low flammability and provides effective sealing with low water vapour transmission.

How to use

Ensure surfaces are clean, dry and free of dust or oil before application. Measure and cut the required length, remove the easy-release liner, and press the tape firmly onto the surface, smoothing out any wrinkles or air pockets. For best adhesion, apply firm pressure across the whole tape width. Overlapping joints by a small amount improves sealing performance. For curved or irregular surfaces, conform the tape carefully to maintain contact across the adhesive layer.

Recommendations

Store the tape in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. For long-term outdoor exposure, check compatibility with the specific substrate and consider periodic inspection of adhesive performance. Not recommended for use on delicate paints or surfaces without testing; perform a small test area if necessary.
