WKRĘT-MET WK-DS085 Σπειροειδής σύνδεσμος για πολυστυρένιο 85 mm, 10 τεμ.

For fastening lightweight fixtures directly into polystyrene insulation boards, the WKRĘT-MET WK-DS085 spiral fastener eliminates the need for separate anchors or plugs. Its coarse spiral thread cuts into EPS and XPS without pre-drilling, while the polyamide body prevents thermal bridging—a common drawback of metal screws in insulated facades. The 85 mm length provides secure grip in boards up to 80 mm thick, and the white head blends discreetly with most insulation surfaces.

Highlights

• Direct screw-in installation—no pre-drilling required for standard EPS/XPS boards
• High-quality polyamide (nylon) construction: UV-stable, corrosion-free, and thermally non-conductive
• Coarse spiral thread for strong pull-out resistance in lightweight applications
• Phillips PH2 drive for easy handling with common screwdrivers or bits
• Pack of 10 pieces—enough for multiple small fixtures

In daily use

Mounting a house number, mailbox, motion detector, or downspout bracket onto an insulated wall becomes a one-step job. Simply position the object, drive the WK-DS085 through its mounting hole into the insulation, and tighten until the head sits flush. The large head (approx. 15 mm diameter) distributes load and prevents pull-through. Because the fastener is made entirely of polyamide, it creates no cold bridge, helping maintain the insulation’s thermal performance. It is suitable for both expanded polystyrene (EPS) and extruded polystyrene (XPS) boards.
